We thank them for their strength, perseverance, and resistance. In their spirit may we strive to always honor and respect the wisdom of our elders. READING OF MISSION STATEMENT We advocate to improve the quality of life for Long Beach's culturally diverse older population by expanding knowledge and services related to education, health, housing, public transportation, safety, technology and language access. Transportation – Commissioners Smith and Schmidt UNFINISHED BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Opportunity is given to those members of the public who would like to address the Senior Citizen Advisory Commission on non-agenda items. Each speaker is limited to three minutes. The Brown Act prohibits Commissioners from responding to comments on non-agenda items. NEXT MEETING The next meeting of the Long Beach Senior Citizen Advisory Commission will be held August 10, 2022 at 10 am at the Long Beach Senior Center 1150 E. 4th Street upstairs room #202.
