G. Statute of Limitations. The statute of limitations for an
action shall be three (3) years, and all remedies under
the Ordinance are available for the entire statutory
period.
2. INSTRUCT the LAHD and REQUEST the City Attorney to report to
the Housing and Homelessness Committee monthly on the number
of Tenant Anti-Harassment Ordinance claims in each District, the
tenant's reasoning for filing, and how the City has responded to each
claim. The report should include the corresponding unit information
such as address, rent amount, and if it is protected by the Rent
Stabilization Ordinance.

Fiscal Impact Statement: The EWDD reports that this will have no negative impact on the City General
Fund, as proposed programs will be funded with American Recovery Plan Act funds, Community
Development Block Grant, and the previous transfer of Fiscal Year 2021-22 Unappropriated Balance
funds from the Bureau of Street Services.

SUMMARY
At the meeting held on September 20, 2024, your Civil Rights, Equity, Immigration, Aging and Disability

1. AUTHORIZE the City Attorney to settle the above-entitled matter for $35 million.
2. AUTHORIZE 56.81% of the net settlement proceeds to be paid to the Bureau of
Sanitation (Sanitation), Fund No. 511/50, and Revenue Source Code No. 5121-
01; and, AUTHORIZE the Controller to appropriate such funds to a dedicated
project account entitled “Monsanto PCB Remediation Restitution” within Fund
No. 511.
3. AUTHORIZE 22.20% of the net settlement proceeds to be paid to the Port of Los
Angeles (Port), Fund No. 702/42, and Revenue Source Code No. 5166.
4. AUTHORIZE 20.99% of the net settlement proceeds to be paid to the
