CITY OF LYNNWOOD LEOFF-1 DISABILITY BOARD - REGULAR LEOFF-1 DISABILITY BOARD MEETING MINUTES November 18, 2025 1. Call to Order Chairman Mike McBride called the November 2025 Disability Board meeting to order at 9:05am. 2. Roll Call Nick Coelho was absent for the November 2025 LEOFF-1 Disability Board meeting. George Hurst had an excused absence and arrived virtually via RingCentral after the Audit of Claims. All other Board Members were in attendance. Present: Chairman Michael McBride Vice Chairman John Conderman Council Member George Hurst Member at Large Ed dos Remedios Board Secretary Kaitlyn Martin Absent: Council Member Nick Coelho 3. Approval of Minutes 3.1 Approval of the October 14, 2025 LEOFF-1 Disability Board Meeting minutes. Moved by Ed dos Remedios; seconded by John Conderman to Motion to approve the October 14, 2025 Disability Board Meeting Minutes.. Motion : 3- 0 Voting For: Michael McBride, John Conderman, Ed dos Remedios Voting Against: None 4. Audit of Claim 4.1 Routine Claims 4.2 Motion for Audit of Claims Moved by Ed dos Remedios; seconded by John Conderman to Approve Motion to approve the presented claims.. Motion Passed: 3- 0  Voting For: Michael McBride, John Conderman, Ed dos Remedios Voting Against: None 5. Old Business None. 6. New Business 6.1 Firefighter representative election for 2026-2027 term. Board Secretary Kaitlyn Martin told the Board that she sent out ballots at the beginning of the month for the LEOFF-1 Disability Board Firefighter representative election. Vice Chairman John Conderman's term ends at the end of 2025. If any Fire Members wish to nominate themselves for the Firefighter representative position, they must return their ballot by November 28, 2025. If no other nominees are nominated, then John Conderman will be re-elected for the 2026-2027 term at the December Board meeting. 6.2 2026 Medicare rate increase. Chairman Mike McBride let the Board know that Medicare rates for 2026 will increase from $185 per month to $206. Board Secretary Kaitlyn will be sending letters to all LEOFF-1 Members requesting new Medicare documents with the updated 2026 rate.
