CITY OF LYNNWOOD LEOFF-1 DISABILITY BOARD - REGULAR LEOFF-1 DISABILITY BOARD MEETING MINUTES April 14, 2026 1. Call to Order Chairman Mike McBride called the April 2026 LEOFF-1 Disability Board meeting to order at 9:00am. 2. Roll Call All LEOFF-1 Disability Board members were in attendance at the April 2026 LEOFF- 1 Disability Board meeting with the exception of Nick Coelho. Present: Chairman Michael McBride Vice Chairman John Conderman Member at Large Ed dos Remedios Council Member Isabel Mata Board Secretary Kaitlyn Martin Absent: Council Member Nick Coelho 3. Approval of Minutes 3.1 Approval of the March 10, 2026 LEOFF-1 Disability Board Meeting minutes Moved by Ed dos Remedios; seconded by John Conderman to Approve Motion to approve the April 14, 2026 LEOFF-1 Disability Board Meeting minutes.. Motion Passed: 4- 0 Voting For: Michael McBride, John Conderman, Ed dos Remedios, Isabel Mata Voting Against: None 4. Audit of Claim 4.1 Routine Claims 4.2 Motion for Audit of Claims Moved by Isabel Mata; seconded by John Conderman to Approve Motion to approve the presented claims.. 1  Motion Passed: 4- 0 Voting For: Michael McBride, John Conderman, Ed dos Remedios, Isabel Mata Voting Against: None 5. Old Business 5.1 WSLEA Conference Registration Board Secretary Kaitlyn Martin reminded the board that registration for the WSLEA 2026 Conference closes at the end of the month. Council Member Isabel Mata decided not to attend, so Vice Chairman John Conderman will consider it. He will give Kaitlyn a response by the end of the day. 5.2 Reimbursement for Medicare Part B & D Information Follow-Up Chairman Mike McBride presented to the board his findings in regards to Medicare Part B & D reimbursement rules. He confirmed that according to the the LEOFF-1 Disability Board Policies & Procedures Handbook, section 5.03-item 1, the board is required to reimburse members for premiums upon proof of payment. This includes any additional amounts added due to IRMAA as well as Part D if added to the the premium. 6. New Business None.
