CITY OF LYNNWOOD LEOFF-1 FIREFIGHTER PENSION BOARD - REGULAR LEOFF-1 FIREFIGHTER PENSION BOARD MEETING MINUTES October 14, 2025 1. Call to Order Chairperson Christine Frizzell called the October 2025 Firefighter Pension Board meeting to order at 9:46am. 2. Roll Call All Firefighter Pension Board Members were in attendance at the October 2025 Firefighter Pension Board meeting. Present: Chairperson Christine Frizzell Finance Director Michelle Meyer Member John Conderman Member Paul Walker Board Secretary Kaitlyn Martin 3. Approval of Minutes 3.1 Approval of the July 8, 2025 Firefighters Pension Board Meeting Minutes Moved by Paul Walker; seconded by John Conderman to Approve Motion to approve the July 8, 2025 Firefighter Pension Board Meeting Minutes.. Motion Passed: 4- 0 Voting For: Christine Frizzell, Michelle Meyer, John Conderman, Paul Walker Voting Against: None 4. Audit of Claim 4.1 Approval of the July, August, September 2025 Retirement Payments 4.2 Motion for Audit of the Claims Moved by Michelle Meyer; seconded by John Conderman to Approve Motion to approve the July, August, September 2025 Retirement Payments.. Motion Passed: 4- 0 1  Voting For: Christine Frizzell, Michelle Meyer, John Conderman, Paul Walker Voting Against: None 5. Old Business Finance Director Michelle Meyer addressed a question asked during the July Board Meeting regarding how/when the Firefighter Pension Board members would be notified about a cost-of-living increase next year. Michelle explained that she reached out to the RFA, but they don't currently have a contract in place for January 1st, 2026. They will have to wait for RFA to approve the new contract. Once they do, Michelle will let the members know what the new payments will be and all members will be paid the difference retroactively. Member Paul Walker said he would reach out to a contact at RFA about timelines. 6. New Business None.
