CITY OF LYNNWOOD PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD - REGULAR PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD MEETING MINUTES December 3, 2025 1. Call to Order Land Acknowledgement 2. Approval of Minutes 3.A Approval of Minutes from November 5, 2025. The Minutes from November 5, 2025, were approved as presented. 4. Written Communications 5. Public Comments 6. Comments from Board members Member Van Order shared his experience volunteering at Scriber Lake Park Urban forestry event. Director Faber said that the Chick-A-File fundraiser was fun, he was working drive- through, and they raised funds to support recreation youth scholarships. Member Barber stated he attended the Foundation’s fundraiser, then asked who was 1  on the Foundation board and when the board meeting was. Mr. Barber thanked Council Liaison, Robert Leutwyler for his participation on the Parks Board and wanted to encourage him to remain on the Board for 2026. Member McKeown mentioned she liked the stickers the Foundation handed out at the fundraiser. Member Krause mentioned he would prefer to see full dugout covers at Meadowdale Athletic Complex versus 1/2 dugout covers. 7. Messages from the City Council 8. Resolutions and Other Business 8.A Adopt Meeting Calendar for 2026 PRCA Board meetings will continue to be held on the 1st Wednesday of the month from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with exception for July meeting, which will be held on July 8th, 2026. PRCA Board meetings schedule for 2026: - January 7 - February 4 - March 4 - April 1 - May 6 - June 3 - July 8 - August 5 - September 2 - October 7 - November 4 - December 2. 8.B Board Member Recognition Director Joel Faber thanked boardmembers for their time and dedication and all the volunteer work they do for the City and the Parks and Recreation Department. 8.C Election of Officers for 2026 Moved by Boardmember Hernandez, seconded by Boardmember Krause, to elect Boardmember Van Order as Chair for 2026. Approved. Moved by Boardmember Hernandez, seconded by Boardmember Krause, to elect Boardmember Barber as Vice Chair for 2026. Approved. 2  8.D Annual Capital Program/Rowe Park Update Planning superintendent Monica Thompson briefed the Board on Capital Program/Rowe Park. 8.E Park Impact Fee Update Update in Park Impact Fee was postponed for the next meeting. 9.
