Call to Order This meeting was called to order at 6:02 p,.m. 2. Roll Call Present 6 - Commissioner Robert Brems, Commissioner Robert Klob, Commissioner Maurice Thomas Jr., Commissioner Ted Yocum, Commissioner William Robertson , and Chair James Singleton Absent 1 - Vice Chair Alfonso Juarez III 3. Call to the Public No members of the public approached the podium during the call to the public. No speaker cards were provided by the public. 4. Minutes 4.1 MIN 25-20 The Commission shall review and approve the Minutes from the March 24th, 2025 meeting. A motion was made by Commissioner Yocum, seconded by Commissioner Robertson, that these Minutes be Approved. The motion carried by a unanimous vote. 5. Regular Agenda 5.1 PAD24-07 The Planning and Zoning Commission shall discuss a request by the Rose Law Group, on behalf of, Private Motor Sports Group, LLC, to rezone approximately 263 acres of land from Industrial (CI-2) to the Apex Motor Sports Planned Area Development (PAD). The subject site is located at the Northwest West corner of Ralston Road and State Route 238. The Presentation was heard. 5.2 DRP25-03 PLANNING COMMISSION UPDATE: Derek Scheerer, Senior Planner, will present Major Development Review Permit case # DRP25-03 Maricopa Field House Copper Sky, a request by the City of Maricopa for review of Site, Landscape, Elevations, and Photometric Plans for a proposed athletics field house on approximately 4.9-acres of land within Pinal County Parcel No. 510-12-014G, within the City of Maricopa, generally located at the southwest corner of W. Bowlin Rd. and N. Greythorn Dr. DISCUSSION ONLY. Derek Scheerer, Senior Planner, presented details for item 5.2. Discussion followed. The Presentation was heard. 6. Reports from Commission and/or Staff Richard Williams, Planning and Zoning Manager, gave a report from staff. Mr. Williams stated that April 28th, 2025, will be the next meeting date for the Commission. 7. Executive Session No executive session was conducted. 8.
