APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Minutes for the April 16, 2024, meeting was approved by a unanimous vote.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
REQUEST
Clarrissa Smith requests a Special Use Permit at 307 W. Simmons Street, Parcel #
06-24-288-001, to open a resale store in a MH-Mobile Home zoned area.
COMMENTS/QUESTIONS
Ms. Smith would like to open a resale store in Paul's Chapel Missionary Baptist
Church Annex. The church will lease the building to Ms. Smith. If Ms. Smith
closes her business, the building will revert back to being the church annex. The
gravel parking lot is currently covered by grass and weeds due to disuse. The
vegetation will be cleared in order for the business to provide adequate off-street
parking. The annex is in a sparsely populated, low traffic area near a flood plain,
so the business will not cause a disturbance.
MOTION/VOTE
Matt Lee made a motion to approve the request, seconded by Jerry Ross.
The request was unanimously approved.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:41 pm.
