CITY OF MONROE LICENSE COMMITTEE MINUTES DATE: MONDAY, JUNE 8, 2026 TIME: 4:45 PM PLACE: COUNCIL CHAMBERS - 1110 18TH AVENUE A. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL The License Committee meeting was called to order on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 4:45 PM. Present in person were Christopher Vestin and Darlene Voelkli. Absent was Richard Thoman. B. CORRECTION OF MINUTES - MAY 26, 2026 The meeting from May 26, 2026 were accepted as presented. C. BUSINESS 1. Education on the Type of Alcohol Licenses and Recent Legislation Updates Related to Alcohol Licenses Clerk Wahl went over the different types of licenses. 2. Recommend to Common Council Resolution Granting Annual Liquor and Fermented Malt Beverages Licenses A motion was made by Voelkli, seconded by Vestin, to approve and recommend to Common Council. The motion passed 2-0, by the following vote: AYES: Christopher Vestin, Darlene Voelkli NOES:None ABSENT: Richard Thoman ABSTAINED: None D. BUSINESS PRESENTED BY MEMBERS E. ADJOURNMENT  A motion was made by Voelkli, seconded by Vestin, to adjourn at 4:48 PM.
