CITY OF MONROE SALARY AND PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MINUTES DATE: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2026 TIME: 5:20 PM PLACE: CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS - 1110 18TH AVE A. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL The Salary and Personnel Committee meeting was called to order on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 5:37 PM. Present in person were Corinne Wartenweiler, Christopher Vestin, Heidi Treuthardt, and Craig Franke. B. CORRECTION OF MINUTES - JANUARY 26, 2026 The meeting from January 26, 2026, were accepted as presented. C. BUISNESS: OPEN 1. Review City of Monroe Chief of Police Job Description and Salary Range Administrator Rindy reviewed the current Chief of Police job description and salary information with the committee and requested input. PFC will be discussing recruitment efforts at their meeting this week. The committee had no recommended changes to the job description and was comfortable with the current process for advertising the salary range. A motion was made by Franke, seconded by Treuthardt, to approve and recommend to Common Council the job description and salary range for the Chief of Police position. The motion passed 4-0, by the following vote: AYES: Craig Franke, Heidi Treuthardt, Corinne Wartenweiler, Christopher Vestin NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAINED: None D. BUSINESS BY MEMBERS E. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Treuthardt, seconded by Wartenweiler, to adjourn at 5:52 PM.
