Town of Mooresville Historic Preservation Commission April 3, 2025 6:00 PM - Mooresville Town Hall Minutes Members Present: Commissioner William Aven, Vice Chair David Cole, William Goodnow, Larry Schaeffer, Chair Henry Seyller, Patty Cotter, Meghan Black, Benjamin Kennedy, Susan Autry. Also Present: Commissioner Tommy Deweese, Planner Parviz Moosavi, Planning Administrative Assistant Lisa Smith, and Assistant Town Attorney Carey Austin. 1. Call to Order Chair Henry Seyller called the meeting to order at 6:01 pm 2. Approval of Agenda ACTION: A motion was made by Mr. Schaeffer, seconded by Mr. Goodnow, to approve the agenda as presented. The motion carried unanimously. 3. Approval of Minutes 3.a Approve HPC Meeting Minutes for March 6, 2025, Meeting ACTION: A motion was made by Mr. Kennedy to approve March 6, 2025, HPC Minutes, seconded by Mr. Goodnow. The motion carried unanimously. 4. Presentations 4.a Legal Training Presentation by Attorney Carey Austin 5. New Business No New Business. 6. General Updates Parviz updated the Commission on CLG Training, shared new HPC Public Notice Signs for Landmark Designation & Certificate of Appropriateness & Mount Mourne Plantation Landmark Designation, Design Standards contract was extended by consultants. 7. Adjournment ACTION: A motion was made by David Cole, seconded by Benjamin Kennedy, to adjourn the meeting at 7:03 pm. The motion carried unanimously.
