Minutes Town of Mooresville Board of Adjustment January 12, 2026 4:00 PM - Mooresville Town Hall Present: Andrew Wingo, Matthew Harrow, Michael Jones, Jason Overturf, Jason Fobbs. Absent: Matthew Frederico. Also present: Planning Director James Coley, Planner II Ashley Lattin, Planner I Patrick Warner, Administrative Assistant Lisa Smith, Assistant Town Attorney Carey Austin. 1. Call to Order Mr. Wingo called the meeting to order at 4:17 p.m. 2. Chairperson's Welcome and Opening 3. Pledge of Allegiance 4. Adjustments to the Agenda No adjustments to the agenda 5. Postponement or Withdrawal Requests 6. Consideration of Approval of Minutes 6.a Consider approval of December 8, 2025, Minutes ACTION: A motion was made by Mike Jones, seconded by Jason Fobbs, to approve the minutes as presented. Motion Carried unanimously. 7. Old Business 7.a Consider Board of Adjustment Rules of Procedure ACTION: A motion was made by Mike Jones, seconded by Jason Overturf, to approve the Rules of Procedure with the following change. Rule 28(4): Add “any other party with standing” after Town. Such witnesses shall be subject to cross examination by the applicant/appellant, the Town any other party with standing, and the Board, in that order. Motion carried unanimously 8. Administrative Items 8.a Board of Adjustment Training presented by Carey Austin, Assistant Town Attorney. 9.
