This project seeks funding for activity hours for two new officers to conduct high-visibility traffic safety enforcement and related vehicle, equipment, and training costs. This Grant will provide 85% reimbursement for two new Traffic Enforcement Officers allowable salaries, benefits, vehicles, equipment, supplies, and training for the first Year 1 of the 5-Year Grant. Reimbursement percentages decrease for Years 2 through 5, and Town match percentages increase for Years 2 through 5. Mandatory 12-month retention of both positions is required at 100% after 4-Years of grant funding.
