Mundelein Foreign Fire Tax Board Meeting February 17, 2025 Minutes CALL TO ORDER Meeting called to order at 8:43 AM ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO AGENDA No additions or deletions to agenda ATTENDANCE The following members were present: • Bill Lark • Angel Gonza • Brian Jones • Joel Kuester • Greg Kornfeind • Partick Collins • Mike Akers • Jasmin Reichel • Steven D'Incognito • Brett Clark MINUTES APPROVAL MINUTES APPROVAL A motion to approve minutes from the November 18, 2024, meeting was made by Gonzaga, seconded by Kornfeind. Motion approved. REPORTS REPORTS The treasurer's report was not able to be presented due to a computer issue. Funds were noted to be approximately $135,000 (pending outstanding invoices) via bank statements by the treasurer. Motion to approve stated report pending future official report made by Gonzaga, seconded by Lark. Motion passed. OLD BUSINESS OLD BUSINESS • All Fire Store orders have been fulfilled, and the invoice is pending. • Challenge coins ordered and awaiting shipment. The invoice did go slightly over budget but was approved by the FFTB President prior to the final invoice. Final numbers are to be presented later. • Rogan's Shoes account closed prior to the meeting and pending invoice. • Motion was made to increase the patio furniture allotment from $3,500 to $4,500 by Kornfeind and seconded by Gonzaga. Motion passed. • Discussion for Turbo Nozzles tabled for future meeting. No funds were allotted for any items. • Storm sticks were ordered and placed on apparatus. Awaiting invoice from vendor. • Step chocks ordered, invoiced and placed in service. NEW BUSINESS Members present discussed future needs of battery-powered extrication tools. Further discussion will take place when the proper funding / treasurer's report are available. NEXT MEETING - May 19, 2025 ADJOURNMENT Meeting was adjourned at 9:13 AM
