CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Commissioner Ron Davidson and attendance taken by Julie Mendoza-Morris: B. ROLL CALL: Present 3- Mark Wright, Ronald Davidson, and Kirsten Young Absent 2- David Blaydes, and Kim Widup Also in attendance Liaison Police Deputy Chief Jason Arres (departed 4:09) Liaison Fire Deputy Fire Chief Amy Scheller (departed 4:09) HR Assistant Julie Mendoza-Morris C. PUBLIC FORUM: D. OLD BUSINESS: E. NEW BUSINESS: Process for Sergeant Testing Sergeant Testing Oral Interview Process - TABLED F. REPORTS: 1. Police Department Report Recruits are doing well. One candidate did not pass field training Buckeyes (gas station) in the news - unfortunate - when issues like this arise it takes time away from officers that are needed elsewhere 2. CLOSED SESSION: - 4:05 The Board returned to open session at 4:35 p.m. H. ACTION ITEMS: Executive Summary Review A MOTION was made by Commissioner Ron Davidson to keep the 1-9-2018 Closed Session Minutes restricted and retain restriction, and to destroy the recordings, seconded by Commissioner Kirsten Young. The motion carried with a unanimous voice vote. Review closed session minutes for 7-9-2019 This Report was withdrawn. Review open session minutes from July 9, 2019 This Report was withdrawn.
