The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Chairman Kirsten Young and
attendance was taken by Stephanie Gianetto

1. Police Department Report
Shooting incident on a basketball court; didn’t hit anyone; in the process of
finding the suspect
Just wrapped up Naperville’s 25th National Night Out; PD & FD visited
neighborhoods in the area to meet with community members
New recruits are progressing well

2. Fire Department Report
Pool drowning incident; 5 year old rushed to Lurie Children’s and is expect
to recover
Increase in call volume; over 650 calls since last meeting
Expecting a 9/20 Fall Academy
CAPs event is approaching in October
