Fire Department Report 6 structure fires this month 3 “accidental” fires - 1 because of mulch; 1 because of a cooking fire 2 incidents of purposely set fires - 1 in a dumpster; 1 was garbage set on fire in front of someone’s door G. CLOSED SESSION: 4:24 p.m. - 4:32 p.m. H. ACTION ITEMS: Approve authorization to hire police officer candidate #7 A motion was made by Commissioner King and seconded by Commissioner Losurdo Aye 5- Abubaker Davidson Earl King Losurdo Approve continuing in the process police officer candidate #2 A motion was denied by Commissioner Abubaker and seconded by Chairman Davidson. Police Officer candidate #2 was REMOVED from the process. Aye 5- Abubaker Davidson Earl King Losurdo Approve destroying the recording of the January 11, 2022 closed session and retain the closed session minutes from that meeting as restricted A motion was made by Commissioner Abubaker and seconded by Commissioner King.
