CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Arres called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM. B. ROLL CALL: Commander Liz Robinson-Chan attended as a proxy for Chief Keith Cross of Aurora Police Department. Present 9- Jason Arres, Denny Barfuss, Keith Cross, Richard Fowler, Carl Franco, Jacqueline Hobday, Russ Matson, Mark Puknaitis, and Kenneth VanAndel Absent 2- Joe DeLeo, and David McCabe C. PUBLIC FORUM: Councilman Nate Wilson was present. Mayor Wehrli selected Councilman Wilson to fill the council vacancy on the Emergency Telephone System Board. The appointment of City Council representatives to various boards and commissions was set for approval at the June 20, 2023 meeting. D. OLD BUSINESS: E. NEW BUSINESS: F. REPORTS: 1. Approve the March 16, 2023 ETSB meeting minutes A motion was made by Fowler to approve the minutes of the March 16, 2023 meeting as presented, seconded by Franco. The motion carried with a unanimous voice vote. 2. Review the E911 surcharge payments for March 1 to May 31, 2023 No questions or comments. 3. Approve the Naperville expenditures for reimbursement for March 1 to May 31, 2023 A motion was made by Franco to approve the Naperville expenditures for reimbursement totaling $1,296,279.26, seconded by Van Andel. The motion carried with a unanimous voice vote. 4. Approve the budget transfer from the E911 Fund to the City of Naperville A motion was made by Fowler to approve the budget transfer from the E911 Fund to the City of Naperville General Fund totaling $769,887.39, seconded by Van Andel. The motion carried with a unanimous voice vote. 5. Approve the Aurora expenditures for reimbursement for March 1 to May 31, 2023 A motion was made by Franco to approve the Aurora expenditures for City of Naperville Page 1 Printed on 9/22/2023 Emergency Telephone System Meeting Minutes - Final June 15, 2023 Board reimbursement totaling $1,217,468.68, seconded by Van Andel. The motion carried with a unanimous voice vote. 6. Approve the withdrawal from the E911 Fund to the City of Aurora A motion was made by Barfuss to approve the withdrawal from the E911 Fund to the City of Aurora totaling $630,294.38, seconded by Van Andel. The motion carried with a unanimous voice vote. G. COMMUNICATIONS: 1. City of Naperville The City of Naperville will be starting contract negotiations with Tyler Technologies for the next CAD/RMS system.TUSA is providing consultation to help solve current radio communication issues throughout the city and develop requirements for the P25 Radio Upgrade. 2. City of Aurora The City of Aurora has selected a consultant for its CAD/RMS project and is developing a project RFP. The dispatch center reconfiguration should be complete by the beginning of August. Staff is working with L3Harris on the P25 Radio Upgrade. 3. City of North Aurora No report. H. ADJOURNMENT: With no further business to come before the board, a motion was made by Fowler to adjourn the meeting at 3:14 PM, seconded by Franco. The motion carried with a unanimous voice vote.
