CALL TO ORDER: Acting Chairman for the July 1, 2024, meeting of the Human Rights and Fair Housing Commission, Brian Palm, called the meeting to order at 6:35 pm. B. ROLL CALL: Present 6- Jim Bergeron, Phillip Green, Jeffrey Hild, Alex Jacobs, Brian Palm, and Nate Wilson Absent 2- Diana Hawken, and Bradford Miller Also present: Geneace Williams, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager C. PUBLIC FORUM: None D. OLD BUSINESS: 1. Approve the Human Rights and Fair Housing Commission meeting minutes of May 6, 2024 Commissioner Bergeron moved to approve the Human Rights & Fair Housing Commission meeting minutes of May 6, 2024, seconded by Commissioner Green. The Motion was approved by a unanimous voice vote. 2. Discuss staff’s recommendation regarding an alleged housing discrimination complaint Commissioner Jacobs moved that staff continue investigations into the discrimination allegations in the case, seconded by Commissioner Green. The motion was approved by a unanimous voice vote. E. NEW BUSINESS: F. REPORTS: Staff reported receiving an update on the Analysis to Fair Housing Impediments Study. It is anticipated a draft RFP should be completed this summer and available by the Commission's September meeting for review. G. ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Bergeron moved to adjourn the regular Human Rights & Fair Housing Commission meeting of July 1, 2024, at 6:56 pm, seconded by Commissioner Hild.
