CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Dibert called the meeting to order at 5:04pm B. ROLL CALL: Present 5- Daniel Bulley, Lewis Dibert, John Krummen, John Nania, and Amit Shukla Also present: Deputy Director, Lucy Hynes, Deputy Director, Olga Geynisman, Customer Connections Manager, Mayor Diab, Utility Technologies Systems Manager, Brian Groth, Budget Analyst, Judy Lyons, Senior Administrative Assistant, Melanie Mazurski C. PUBLIC FORUM: Mr. Greg Hubert spoke on the economic advantages of solar energy. D. OLD BUSINESS: E. NEW BUSINESS: F. REPORTS: 1. Approve the Public Utilities Advisory Board minutes of July 19, 2018 Attachments: PUAB Minutes 07192018 approved Aye: 4- Bulley, Dibert, Nania, and Shukla 2. Receive the 2018 Electric Rate Study and approve the staff recommendation on rates, increased capital, early payoff of the Water Utility loan and realignment of the Purchased Power Adjustment base for City Council consideration. Attachments: Electric Rate Study PUAB Agenda Projected Power Supply Rates: 2019 - 1.7% - $81.89/MWh 2020 - 0.8% - $82.94/MWh 2021 - -4.7% - $78.94/MWh 3.
