A. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Dibert called the meeting to order at 5:03pm

Darrell Blenniss announced that there will be an AMI Presentation at the
Naperville Area Homeowners Confederation on Saturday, May 18, 2019.

Approve the minutes of PUAB meeting March 14, 2019
Chairman Dibert made a motion to approve the PUAB minutes from the March
14, 2019 meeting.

Receive Electric April 2019 Finance Preliminary Report
Financials are on track after the first quarter. No significant changes.

Receive Electric 2019 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Summary Report
IDOT has billed the City for the Rt. 59 Aurora Avenue to the I-88 Exchange for
$1.1 million.
Duct-bank facilities needed to be moved from IDOT's rite-a-ways.
EU-12 shows the encumbrance.
Cable Injection contract is about to expire in June, 2019. Council will be asked
to extend the contract for one year, and the funds are budgeted to cover the
project extension.

Receive Electric 2019 Purchased Power Adjustment (PPA) Report
The Purchased Power Adjustment is a monthly adjustment on your electric bill
based on actual power costs. The PPA changes monthly and is based on a
six-month rolling average. The PPA is either a credit or a charge on the
customer’s utility bill each month. This makes sure customers aren’t
overcharged or undercharged for electricity.
To date, the City has given back $700,000 to the customer.

Receive Electric 2019 SAIDI Report
May's average System Average Interruptable Duration Index ("SAIDI") was 21
minutes.

Receive Water 2019 CIP YTD Report
Water projects recently awarded are sanitary sewer lining, manhole rehabs,
and water meter replacements.
DWC charges $5 per 1,000 gallons and the City would like to close the gap
between what they purchase from DWC and what they sell to city customers.
Their non revenue water is presently at 13% and working on getting down to
8-9%.

Receive PUAB Water Financials
Largest line item for DPU-W is the purchase of water from DuPage Water
Commission ("DWC").
Summer is a great determining factor with regard to water supply and cost.

Due to the amount of rain events so far in May, there was one discharge from
NOC and SOC into the lagoons.
No basement back-ups were reported due to any rain event.
