A. CALL TO ORDER:
The Public Utilities Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Halkias.@ 5:02
p.m.
B. ROLL CALL:
Present 7- Michelle Ackmann, Abbas Bhikhapurawala, Louis Halkias, Brandon Hoeft, Philip
Schrieber, Nate Wilson, and James Fillar
Excused 1- Russell Paluch
C. PUBLIC FORUM:
SPEAKERS
Dan Bulley (Naperville) discussed involvement in green building and
sustainability movements. Concerned about environment sustainability and how
the people part has been left out. Looking to form Naperville Sustainability
Project to spread word of what real sustainability is. Suggest to see projected
rates in kilowatt hours.
Joe Huss (Naperville) has multiple points. The League of Woman Voters and the
Cities Environment and Sustainability recommends an evaluation process that
involves the community. A request for the city to follow procurement code, rule
1-90-4 that requires competitive bidding for IMEA’s information from sales
presentations in the contract. Compare other vendors that sell generation and
capacity.

A motion was made by Fillar, seconded by Ackmann.
The motion carried by unanimous vote to approve amended minutes for
additional information on IMEA provided by Halkias.
