PUBLIC FORUM: Diana Torres Hawken Lucia Gomez Neelam Saboo (new Commissioner) D. RECOGNITION: Recognition of their years of service to the Sister Cities Commission, Shafeek Abubaker and Vasavi Chakka both resign their positions as commissioners. E. OLD BUSINESS: Continue discussion of appointing a new Treasurer. A new Treasurer has not been appointed at this time. F. REPORTS: Receive and file the Treasurer’s report for June 2021 Approve the Sister Cities Commission minutes of May 12, 2021 Foundation Update The Foundation has not met and therefore did not provide an update. NEW BUSINESS: Visit from Chief Hurtado discussion. Commissioner Alan Lowe discussed the visit from Chief Hurtado. Discuss adding a new Sister Cities. Commissioner Alan Lowe discussed adding a new Sister Cities in the near future by teaming with local businesses. Discuss adding new commissioners to Sister Cities.
