CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Fuhrer called to the meeting to order at 6:35 pm B. ROLL CALL: PRESENT: ALAN LOWE SOPHIA LUO (LEFT THE MEETING AT 6:52 PM) LANCE FUHRER BECKY RUDOLPH ARISTA WANG (ARRIVED AT 7:04 PM) OTHERS PRESENT: COUNCIL WOMAN GUSTIN, TINA CUI, TONY CHAMBERLAIN, SHAFEEK ABUBAKER, ARUN MANI C. PUBLIC FORUM: There were no speakers under Public Forum. E. REPORTS: Update on the Hispanic Festival and review the budget Chairman Fuhrer and Commissioners Luo discussed the program for the Hispanic Festival. They went through who would be introducing our guests and working with the emcee to make sure that everything runs smoothly. The Chairman will reach out to Rena to ensure that she has a script for the evening. Commissioner Randolph announced that their would be 3 award recipients. She would be notifying them and advise them to invite their families. We are just weeks away and in the next couple of weeks, we will make sure that the permits and insurance and all of the items that the City is requesting is finalized.
