Alderman Simpson for the appropriate department to conduct a traffic study between the intersection of Shuttle Meadow Avenue and Corbin Avenue and the intersection of Corbin Avenue and Dorset Road. Residents have reported speeding and noise pollution caused by motorists. Please report the average and median speeds, number of cars recorded, and the location of measurement devices in the study. Petition 2. Alderpersons McAdam, Santiago and Barbosa for the appropriate department to convert the two-way stop on Wynola Avenue and Berlkey Street to a four-way stop intersection. Petition 3. Alderpersons McAdam, Santiago and Barbosa for the appropriate department to repaint the crosswalk at Fulton Street and South Street and install mid-block crossing signage and a rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB). Petition 4. Alderman McNamara for the appropriate department(s) to consider additional enforcement restrictions and or signage for on street parking on Brittany Farms Road. Residents report parking on two sides and the curving road poses traffic risk for CT Transit, school busses and vehicles. Petition 5. WITHDRAWN: Alderman McNamara for the appropriate department(s) to repair/replace a bus stop bench at Stanley Street and Barbour Road. Petition 6. Ald. Smedley to amend a section of the Zoning Ordinances relating to the Municipal Parking District. Petition 7. Ald.
