The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chairman Gaudio. Members Present: Staff Present: Chairman Anthony Gaudio Kathy M. Thake, Admin. Asst. Steve Ostrega Joseph J. Annunzio, Village Attorney Denise McCreery Randy Greco Also Present: Christopher B. Cohen, Inspector General Members Absent: Matthew Lagodzinski Approval of Minutes Mr. Greco made a motion, seconded by Mr. Ostrega, to approve the minutes of the September 16, 2014, meeting; on voice vote all concurred. New Business Item #1 Board of Ethics Reports Chairman Gaudio indicated he would like feedback from the Board of Ethics on how to report the activity to the Village Board. Mr. Greco stated minutes from each meeting seem to be the appropriate method. Ms. McCreery agreed that minutes would be acceptable to inform the Village Board rather than verbal reports. Chairman Gaudio stated that other committees are not required to provide verbal reports. Mr. Greco added that once a question comes up which would require to verbal report; the Chairman could appear at a Board meeting. Item #2 Inappropriate Complaints to the Board of Ethics Discussion on the context of appearance of impropriety when complaints are filed took place. It was determined further review is needed to protect the name of the complainant.
