PUBLIC NOTICE SPECIAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING MARCH 17, 2020 A Special Meeting has been called of the Board of Trustees pursuant to Section 2-31, Special Meetings, of the Niles Code of Ordinances. This meeting is open to the public. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 5:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village of Niles Administration Building, 1000 Civic Center Drive, Niles, Illinois. The purpose of the Special Meeting will be Board Approval of an Ordinance Declaring an Emergency Affecting the Public Health, Safety and Welfare Due to the Outbreak of the COVID-19 Virus in the State of Illinois. President Przybylo will read into the record the Declaration of Public Health Emergency Due to the COVID-19 Virus. The Special Meeting will be broadcast live and available for the public to watch online at vniles.com/ntv (NTV Online) and on Comcast Channel 6 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. This meeting will also be rebroadcast throughout the week. The Village is encouraging social distancing and invites the public to watch the broadcast (and/or rebroadcast) of the meeting rather than attend the meeting in person, in order to help ensure the health and safety of our residents, staff and elected officials.
