COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMISSION MEETING SUMMARY July 12, 2012 Present: Steven Gorski - Chair Absent: Anthony Cristiano Mary Marusek Trustee Jim Hynes – Ex Officio Cathy Spadoni - Secretary Bob Thomas Mayor Robert Callero George Van Geem – Village Manager Representatives of the Interfaith Housing Center of the Northern Suburbs Viki Rivkin - Director of Fair Housing Gail Schechter – Executive Director Ms. Rivkin and Ms. Schechter presented the Interfaith Housing Center 2011-2012 Audit Report of Housing Discrimination in Niles. (A copy of the audit is attached.) They explained the report findings and fielded questions from those present. Because a quorum was not present, Commissioner Gorski postponed the meeting.
