FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES VILLAGE OF NILES , ILLINOIS March 4, 2014, 4:00 P.M. 1000 Civic Center Dr. Niles, IL 60714 Chairman Valle called the regular monthly meeting to order at 4:00 P.M. and took roll call. Present: Chairman Valle, Commissioner Mangold, Commissioner Mueller and Police Deputy Chief McEnerney. Absent: Fire Chief Borkowski and Village Attorney Annunzio. Approval of Minutes: The minutes of the February 4, 2014 meeting were approved. Motion: Commissioner Mangold. Second: Commissioner Mueller. Yeas: Commissioner Mangold, Commissioner Mueller, Chairman Valle. Nays: . Abstain: . Correspondence: None. Old Business: The preliminary Fire Lieutenant promotional list was posted and the final Fire Lieutenant promotional list was posted as of March 4, 2014. New Business: There was no discussion regarding any planning for the Fire Eligibility examination since Chief Borkowski was absent. The regular meeting was closed at 4:05 P.M. and opened in Executive Session per 5 ILCS 120/2 (1) Personnel. Motion: Commissioner Mangold. Second: Commissioner Mueller. Yeas: Commissioner Mangold, Commissioner Mueller, Chairman Valle. Nays: . Abstain: . The Executive Session opened at 4:06 P.M. to discuss Fire and Police personnel matters. The regular meeting was reconvened at 4:10 P.M. The next regular monthly meeting of the Commission is scheduled for April 1, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. The regular meeting was adjourned at 4:11 P.M.
