FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES VILLAGE OF NILES , ILLINOIS January 6, 2015, 4:15 P.M. 1000 Civic Center Dr. Niles, IL 60714 Chairman Valle called the regular monthly meeting to order at 4:15 P.M. and took roll call. Present: Chairman Valle, Commissioner Mueller, Fire Chief Borkowski, Interim Police Chief McEnerney, and Village Attorney Annunzio. Absent: Commissioner Mangold. Approval of Minutes: The minutes of the November 4, 2014 meeting were approved. Motion: Commissioner Mueller. Second: Chairman Valle. Yeas: Commissioner Mueller, Chairman Valle. Nays: . Abstain: . Correspondence: Old Business: None. New Business: Discussion on the hiring of a Probationary Police officer. The regular meeting was closed at 4:20 P.M. and opened in Executive Session per 5 ILCS 120/2 (1) Personnel. Motion: Commissioner Mueller. Second: Chairman Valle. Yeas: Commissioner Mueller, Chairman Valle. Nays: . Abstain: . The Executive Session opened at 4:20 P.M. to discuss Fire and Police personnel matters. The regular meeting was reconvened at 4:28 P.M.
