FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES VILLAGE OF NILES, ILLINOIS September 1, 2015, 4:00 P.M. 1000 Civic Center Dr. Niles, IL 60714 Chairman Valle called the regular monthly meeting to order at 4:05 P.M. and took roll call. Present: Chairman Valle, Commissioner Mueller, Fire Chief Borkowski, Police Chief McEnerney and Village Attorney Annunzio. Absent: Commissioner Pacheco. Approval of Minutes: The minutes of the August 4, 2015 meeting were approved. Motion: Commissioner Mueller. Second: Chairman Valle. Yeas: Chairman Valle, Commissioner Mueller. Nays: . Abstain:. Correspondence: None. Old Business: Sergeant promotional examination fact sheet has been posted. Written test is scheduled for October 27, 2015. Oral interviews will be scheduled for late afternoon/early evening hours on November 16 -19 depending on number of candidates. New Business: Police entry interviews were scheduled for September 14, 2015 from noon to 6 P.M. Fire entry interviews were scheduled for September 24, 2015 from 3 P.M. to 6 P.M. The regular meeting was closed at 4:20 P.M. and opened in Executive Session per 5 ILCS 120/2 (1) Personnel. Motion: Commissioner Mueller. Second: Chairman Valle.
