FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES VILLAGE OF NILES , ILLINOIS May 3, 2018 7000 W. Touhy Avenue Niles, IL 60714 Chairman Mueller called the meeting to order at 9:57 A.M. and took roll call. Present: Commissioner Pacheco, Commissioner Borkowki, Chairman Mueller, Police Chief Tigera and Fire Chief Feld. Absent: . Approval of Minutes: The minutes of the March 1, 2018 meeting were approved. Motion: Commissioner Pacheco. Second: Commissioner Borkowki. Yeas: Commissioner Pacheco, Commissioner Borkowki, Chairman Mueller. Nays: . Abstain:. Correspondence: None. Old Business: None. New Business: New fire entrance exam is scheduled for September 29, 2018. Chief requests starting processing new candidates from said list for possible opening in November. The regular meeting was closed at 10:00 A.M. and opened in Executive Session per 5 ILCS 120/2 (1) Personnel. Motion: Commissioner Pacheco. Second: Commissioner Borkowki. Yeas: Commissioner Pacheco, Commissioner Borkowki, Chairman Mueller. Nays: . Abstain:. The Executive Session opened at 10:00 A.M. to discuss Fire and Police personnel matters. The regular meeting was reconvened at 10:18 A.M. The next regular monthly meeting of the Commission is scheduled for June 7, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. The regular meeting was adjourned at 10:19 A.M.
