NOTICE AND AGENDA CITY OF NORTH LAS VEGAS EDUCATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING May 2, 2022 5:00 p.m., Council Chambers, 2250 Las Vegas Boulevard North, North Las Vegas, Nevada 89030 Website - http://www.cityofnorthlasvegas.com WELCOME The Education Advisory Committee welcomes each of you to its meeting. If you wish to speak on any agenda item, or in the Public Forum, please complete one of the blue cards, which are located on the table outside the main entrance and at the podium rail. When called upon by the Chairman of the Education Advisory Committee, it is requested that you limit your comments to no more than three minutes, and please avoid repetition. Items on the agenda may be taken out of order. The Education Advisory Committee may combine two or more agenda items for consideration; and may remove an item from the agenda or delay discussions relating to an item on the agenda at any time. The North Las Vegas City Council Chamber is accessible to all persons. For Possible Action to Approve Education Advisory Committee Regular Meeting Agenda of May 2, 2022. BUSINESS 2. For Possible Action to Discuss, Review and Adopt Tasks Out of the Tasks that were Submitted by Committee Members to Address Family Engagement. 3. For Possible Action to Discuss and Create Assignments for the Committee Members Based on the Tasks Adopted. 4. For Possible Action to Discuss Data Points the Committee Would Like to have Researched Further to Obtain Specific Data for North Las Vegas Schools and Adopt Recommendation to take to Council. 5. For Possible Action to Discuss Important Information that the Clark County School District Regional Superintendent can Relay During the Quarterly Reports to the Mayor and City Council and Adopt Recommendation to take to Council. STAFF ITEMS COMMITTEE ITEMS PUBLIC FORUM This is the portion of the meeting devoted to the Public to speak on any subject within the jurisdiction, control, or authority of the Education Advisory Committee.
