PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Board Specialist Tiffany Lindner. 1. PUBLIC COMMENT: In Person: Joseph Kreisel: Expressed opposition to Item No. 26-0280 and spoke to fixed incomes and taxes. Martin Price: Expressed opposition to Item No. 26-0280 and spoke to pricing increases. 2. GENERAL BUSINESS: A. 26-0280 Discussion and Possible Direction Regarding the Fee Structure for Warm Mineral Springs Park, Located at 12200 San Servando Avenue, North Port, Florida, 34287. Mayor Emrich announced the item. Mr. Fletcher introduced the item. Commission questions and discussion took place regarding non -resident fee increases, resident discounts, annual pass sales trends, maximum capacity, international visitor data, resident versus non-resident visitor data, senior citizen and veteran discounts, and pricing history. There was no public comment. There was consensus to direct the City Manager to reactivate the annual pass at fiscal year 2025 rates while maintaining current multi-visit pass structure and pricing and bring back an ordinance for Commission review. B. 26-0296 Discussion and Possible Direction Regarding Changes to the Citywide Sponsorship Policy. Mayor Emrich announced the item. Mr. Fletcher introduced the item. Ms. Pfundheller spoke to the item. Ms. Lencki provided a presentation including past event attendance, key definitions, sponsorship levels, presenting sponsor, new feature sponsor, tiered sponsors, amenity sponsor, in-kind donations, sample sponsorship outreach variables, and policy revisions. Commission questions and discussion took place regarding public spaces, banner sales and signage, event scale determination, sponsorship pricing and demand, sponsor recognition and benefits, marketing outreach and community partnerships, revenue goals, general fund impacts and cost recovery, annual budget targets, renewal rights, potential naming rights, and policy structure and consistency. Public Comment: In Person: Mike Morales: Spoke to his current sponsorship, exclusivity, and maintaining low costs. There was consensus to direct the City Manager to update the Citywide Sponsorship Policy considering new or additional ways of enhancing the value of the presenting sponsor and to bring back a resolution for Commission review. 3. PUBLIC COMMENT: There was no public comment. 4.
