22 Chairman Schwall called the meeting to order in the Terrace Room of Village Hall, 1225 Cedar Lane, at 5:48
23 p.m. A quorum was present.

28 There were no public comments from the public.

30 4. Review of Minutes
31 Michael Rubenstein moved, seconded by Commissioner Schwall, to approve the June 13, 2013 minutes for
32 the Architectural Control Commission (ACC) meetings without corrections. On a voice vote, the motion was
33 unanimously carried.

35 5. Design Review Permits – 1346 Shermer Road (Village Green Center) rear building façade changes
36 Selwyn Marcus, representing the Village Green Business Center LLC, is submitting an application for a new
37 window and relocation of an existing awning on the building façade facing the parking lot. F. Dirk Heidbrink
38 made a motion to approve of changes with the condition that any holes in the walls be repaired as part of
39 the improvements. Michael Rubenstein seconded the motion. On a voice vote, the motion was
40 unanimously carried.

42 6. Proposed Changes to Previously Approved Trim Features – 1000 Sunset Ridge
43 A request by the architect was submitted for the color change to North Shore Place from Sandstone to
44 White. Mr. Poupard advised the Commission that this request has been withdrawn.

4 b. 2252 Dehne Rd. (R-4 District) – Clifford Town, Architect
5 c. 1680 Landwehr Road (R-4 District) – Fraerman Associates Architects
6 d. 652 Laburnum Drive (R-4 District) – Orest Baranyk, Architects
7 e. 501 Greenwood Rd. (R-3 District) – Fred Polito, Architect
8 f. 2112 Maple Ave. (R-5 District) – BK Architect Co.
9 g. 2765 Woodland (R-3 District) – Archicraft, Inc., Architect

11 Michael Rubenstein made a motion that all residences have passed review and Chairman Alan Schwall seconded
12 the motion. On a voice vote, all motion was unanimously carried.

14 9. New Business
15 It was discussed that a new vendor, Safe Built, is beginning to be utilized for plan review services by the Village.
16 Review time may be up to 4 weeks because of the increased volume of requests and submissions.

18 10. Old Business
19 Wal-Mart will be having a public hearing in August and Mariano’s will be discussed in September.

22 There being no further business, David Menn moved, seconded by Commissioner Schwall, to adjourn the
23 meeting. On a voice vote, the motion unanimously carried, and the meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
