2015 ART IN THE PARK REVIEW
o Planning Committee: Last year's committee included Elsa Fischer, Erin Melloy, Emma Perley,
Julia Miller, Cheryl Fayne, and Chris Laughlin. The committee is responsible for making
recommendations to the whole commission. Anyone who would like to participate in the
committee for 2015 is more than welcome to. Chairman Miller will be sending out a sub-
committee meeting schedule to commissioners, this is a great opportunity to be more involved
with Art in the Park. Erin Melloy will be working with the Arts Commission again for the 2015
Art Fair. Elsa is delegating the Park District liaison position to Frank Lamberti.
o Silent Auction: Chairman Miller posed the question of the Silent Auction being a commission
decision, or a planning committee recommendation. Further discussion is to be had at the Planning
committee meeting later in October.
o Sponsors: Chairman Miller posed the question of sponsors/vendors being at the Art Fair. How do
we proceed for future years, should inclusion/exclusion be a commission decision, or a planning
committee recommendation? More discussion to be had at next meeting.
