APPROVED MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE COMMUNITY AND SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE VILLAGE OF NORTHBROOK COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS January 08, 2013 Trustee Israel called the Community and Sustainability Committee meeting to order in the Shermer Study of the Village Hall at 6:40p.m. Present were: Trustees Israel and Ciesla. Also present were Trustees Karagianis and Buehler, Assistant Village Manager Kiraly, Senior Services Commission Chairman Mort Wax and recorder Judy Butch. Call to Order Hear from the Audience None Senior Services Commission Interviews Crestwood resident Paulette Gardner was the first applicant interviewed. A number of questions were asked of Mrs. Garner. Both Trustees Israel and Ciesla concluded the interview by thanking Ms. Gardner for applying and coming to interview. Next, another Crestwood resident, David Bachrach, was interviewed. Mr. Bachrah was asked a number of questions by those in attendance. Trustee Israel and Ciesla thanked Mr. Bachrach for applying and coming into interview. Executive Session Trustee Ciesla stated an executive session is needed to discuss personnel issues. Trustee Ciesla moved, seconded by Trustee Israel, to go into executive session. On voice vote the motion passed. Reconvene Meeting Trustee Israel reconvened the regular Community & Sustainability Committee meeting. Adjourn Meeting Trustee Ciesla moved, seconded by Trustee Israel to adjourn the meeting at 7:20 p.m. On voice vote, the meeting was adjourned.
