A. DOCKET NO. 15-17: VILLAGE OF NORTHBROOK ZONING CODE TEXT AMENDMENTS STANDARDS AND
PROCEDURES FOR THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO REVIEW AND AUTHORIZE CERTAIN SPECIAL PERMITS,
VARIATIONS, EXCEPTIONS AND OTHER ZONING RELIEF. (Public Hearing Closed). Consideration of a
draft resolution application RECOMMENDING APPROVAL of an application by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Northbrook to consider amending various sections of Article XI, Zoning
Administration and Enforcement and related sections of the Zoning Code concerning the authority of
the Board of Trustees to review and authorize various forms of zoning relief, including but not limited
to special permits, variations, exceptions and other land use restrictions and zoning relief not
otherwise authorized in the Zoning Code.

A. DOCKET NO. PCD-15-23: BERNARD WEINGER JCC - 300 REVERE DRIVE. First Public Hearing of an
application filed by JFMC Facilities Corporation (the “Applicant”) as owner of a property located at
300 Revere Drive (the “Subject Property”), for the purpose of: A) Amendment to Ordinance No.1994-
50: Granting Special Permits for a Membership Sports and Recreation Club, Child Day Care Center, and
Landbanked Parking, Site Plan Approval, and Approval of Various Restrictive Covenant Amendments

at 300 Revere Drive; B) Amendment to Ordinance No. 2000-44: Granting Special Permits for a Planned
Development, Elementary and Secondary School, Social Services, Individual and Family Social Services,
Job Training and Vocational Rehabilitation Services, and Child Day Care Services at 255 and 300
Revere Drive; C) Variation to reduce the required rear yard of the IB Institutional Building District from
20’ to 10’ to accommodate the existing parking lot; D) Amendment to Declaration of Covenants,
Conditions, and Restrictions and Restrictive Covenant as amended to allow the addition of a 13,500
square foot fitness facility to the property located at 255-300 Revere Drive. E) Site Plan Approval; and
F) Approval of such other zoning and subdivision relief as may be necessary.
