Secretary’s Report: MMSC to accept the minutes of the February meeting Treasurer Report: $2015.37 balance. TOPICS DISCUSSED INTRODUCTIONS ANNOUNCEMENTS  Onsite/Mock Onsites  Wallingford: Mock completed – POST Onsite scheduled for April 14.  Simsbury: Mock completed – CALEA onsite April 16th. Public hearing is April 18th at 4:30. Call in session is April 18 1-4pm (860) 658-3158  Manchester: Requesting mock May 26th  Judicial Marshal Training Academy: Mock completed – CALEA onsite April 9th. CORRESPONDENCE NJ PAC invites Facebook users to join CALEA NETWORK on Facebook OLD BUSINESS Discussion of BETA onsite model Chief Palmer conducted in March. Proposal to adopt PAC/Mock onsite participation requirements – MMSC Proposal regarding mock on-sites Part of the services offered by the CT PAC is to conduct mock-site assessments for member agencies who are participating in either the CALEA or POST Accreditation programs. In order to engage as many member agencies as possible in the mock onsite process and thereby promoting additional training and experience for accreditation managers and others involved in the accreditation process, the following proposal is made for consideration of the membership: Non-member agencies of the PAC may request a mock on-site assessment. If the PAC agrees to provide this service, the PAC shall assess a fee of $300.00 which shall be paid in advance. Member agencies of the PAC may request a mock on-site assessment. If the PAC agrees to provide this service, the PAC shall assess the following fees in consideration of the services provided to the PAC by member agencies:  Member agency participating in at least three mock on-site assessments at other agencies during the past three years prior to the date of the mock on-site: No fee  Member agency participating in at least two mock on-site assessments at other agencies during the past three years prior to the date of the mock on-site: $100.00 fee  Member agency participating in the least one mock on-site assessment at another agency during the last three years prior to the date of the mock on-site: $200.00 All funds collected shall be deposited in the PAC checking account and shall be used in accordance with the PAC bylaws and and/or as authorized by the PAC officers or membership. NEW BUSINESS Chief Palmer discussed a software product “POWER DMS” which would assist in managing documents as well as other files for CALEA or State Accreditation. Also being looked at by CALEA to be used in conjunction with standards. New CACE update experienced problems. Suggestion made to wait and not install until bugs are worked out. Ted LeMay made presentation to PAC on paperless onsite and provided samples on CD to membership. Meeting Schedule Next meeting June 2, 2011 Meeting Adjourned at 1125 hours.
