City of Norwalk Ad Hoc Grant Review Meeting Tuesday, January 15, 2013 5:00 p.m. – Room 231 Norwalk City Hall 125 East Avenue Norwalk, CT Committee Attendance: Fred Wilms, Tad Diesel, Richard McQuaid, and Jessica Fogg Staff Attendance: Robert Barron and Erin Halsey Call to Order Mr. Wilms called the meeting to order at 5:07 p.m. and stated that this was an Ad hoc Committee formed to review grant requests from outside agencies for fiscal year 2013-14. Business The agencies, requests and presentation personnel that appeared before the committee: 1. NEON Introduction by: Patricia Pheanious Presented by: Chiquita Stephenson Administration request: $370,500 Summer Camp request: $181,450 Head Start request: $750,000 2. Norwalk Senior Center Presented by: Paul Palermo Program request: $336,080 3. Mid-Fairfield Child Guidance Presented by: Stewart Greenbaum Program request: $ 15,000 4. Human Services Council Children’s Connection Presented by: Kari Pesavento Program request: $ 16,480 School Based Health Center Presented by: Rhonda Capuano Program request: $ 19,055 Community Prevention Task Force Presented by: Marissa Lilliedahl Mangone Program request: $ 13,390 The Committee and Staff were present for all presentations. Each agency representative was thanked for their time and no further discussion ensued. Meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
