The Mayor said that he had not applied for any “Shovels in the Grounds” for school
projects because Norwalk had just completed renovation of a number of schools. Mr.

shorter. He said that the “as builts” and manuals have been turned over to the school.
There are some corrections that remain to be done and the Fire Marshal needs to do a
final inspection.
Mr. Lo then reviewed the budget figures with the committee. He said that there were a
number of items that were less than $15,000 that still needed to be addressed. The
Mayor said that the Committee needed to wait until the final closeout before dealing with
the other issues. He said that he does not wish to exceed the current budget of 41 million
dollar.
