DRAFT CITY OF NORWALK SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE May 16, 2017 PRESENT: Frances DiMeglio; Walter McLaughlin; Bill Dunne; Dave Davidson; Steve Ferguson STAFF: Steve Kleppin; Frank Strauch OTHERS: Atty Liz Suchy Frances DiMeglio called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. I. SUBDIVISIONS a) Subdivision #3646 – Vernoy Properties, Inc. – 56 Chestnut Street – 2 Lots – Preliminary review Mr. Strauch began the presentation with what has been completed for the application and introduced Atty Suchy. Atty Suchy continued the presentation by orienting the commissioners as to the location of the property on an aerial map. She gave a description of the lot sizes. She explained that it met the requirements of the Subdivision regulations. There is no drainage system on either lot. She showed the commissioners the site plan for the properties. She withdrew the waiver for sidewalks and curbs. She said the applicant would request a waiver of street trees. There were still a couple of sign-offs that were necessary for the applicant. She asked that the public hearing be held in June. Mr. Ferguson said that he was concerned about the development in the area. Atty Suchy said that they currently only planned to sub-divide.
