Call To Order Village President Scaman called the meeting to order at 6:31 P.M. She authorized a statement be read providing that the meeting is being held remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines and that it is not prudent to have people present at the Village Board's regular meeting location due to public health concerns related to that pandemic. 2. Roll Call Present: Village Trustees Enyia, and Taglia; Village President Scaman Absent: Village Trustee Robinson 3. Public Comment There was no Public Comment. 4. Approval of Minutes A. ID 21-344 Minutes from the October 20, 2021 Meeting of the Personnel Committee It was moved by Village Trustee Taglia, seconded by Village Trustee Enyia, to approve the Minutes. The motion was approved. The roll call on the vote was as follows: AYES: 3 - Village President Scaman, Village Trustee Enyia, and Village Trustee Taglia NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 - Village Trustee Robinson 5. New Business B. MOT 21-111 A Motion to Approve the Recruitment Brochure for the Village Manager Search Human Resource Director/ Assistant Village Manager Kira Tchang gave an overview of this Item. She commented there is an updated version of the brochure and then shared her screen with the updated version. Village of Oak Park Page 1 Printed on 1/20/2022 Personnel Committee Meeting Minutes October 28, 2021 President Scaman read the updated brochure aloud, and Village Trustees and staff then made recommendations for updates to be made to the brochure. Dele Lowman and Kathleen (Katy) Rush from GovHR will provide an updated version with the recommended revisions for final review to the committee. It was moved by Village Trustee Taglia, seconded by Village Trustee Enyia, to approve the Motion as amended. The motion was approved. The roll call on the vote was as follows: AYES: 3 - Village President Scaman, Village Trustee Enyia, and Village Trustee Taglia NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 - Village Trustee Robinson 6. Adjournment It was moved by Village Trustee Taglia, seconded by Village Trustee Enyia, to adjourn. The motion was approved. The meeting adjourned at 7:11 P.M., Thursday, October 28, 2021. Call To Order A Personnel Committee Meeting is being conducted remotely at 6:30 p.m. with live audio available and optional video. The meeting will be streamed live and archived online for on-demand viewing at www.oak-park.us/boardtv as well as cablecast on VOP-TV, which is available to Comcast subscribers on channel 6 and ATT Uverse subscribers on channel 99. Remote Meetings of the Oak Park Village Board of Trustees is authorized pursuant to Section 7 (e) of the Open Meetings Act. The Village President has determined that an in-person meeting is not practical or prudent due to the COVID-19 outbreak during the Governor’s disaster proclamation. It is also not feasible to have a person present at the Board’s regular meeting location due to public safety concerns related to the COVID-19 outbreak. 2. Roll Call 3. MOT 21-111 A Motion to Approve the Recruitment Brochure for the Village Manager Search Overview: GovHR has developed the language for a Recruitment Brochure for the Village Manager search based on stakeholder feedback. The recruitment brochure reflects the knowledge GovHR has about the community and the Village and will provide important information to potential candidates. GovHR is seeking feedback on and approval of the recruitment brochure language which will be used in conjunction with Village-provided photography and artwork and be shared with prospective candidates for the position of Village Manager. 6.
