Office of the GO Bond Program
Recommend to City Council the approval of unlisted project MB-1825, Parking Improvements,
9000 South Santa Fe Ave and a total allocation of Unlisted General Obligation Bond Funds from
Proposition 12 of the 2017 General Obligation Bond Authorization in the amount of $250,000.
Ward 4.
Location:
9000 South Santa Fe Avenue
Background:
This unlisted capital project will enhance the parking lot at the Police Santa Fe Division facility,
located at 9000 South Santa Fe Avenue. The existing asphalt surface is deteriorating, and the traffic
striping has significantly faded, impacting both safety and appearance. To address these issues, the
project will include the installation of new asphalt pavement and fresh traffic striping, improving
both functionality and aesthetics. These upgrades will significantly extend the lifespan and
durability of the parking lot.
This project is expected to begin construction in Fall 2025 and be completed by Fall 2025.
