City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee of the Whole of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at 2:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 190943 An Ordinance amending Section 19-1301.1 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Homestead Exclusion,” to increase the amount of the homestead exclusion, under certain terms and conditions. 190944 An Ordinance amending Chapter 19-1300 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Real Estate Taxes,” by modifying the duration and/or amount of certain tax abatements, and by providing for periodic evaluation of the abatements authorized by Sections 19-1303(2), 19-1303(3) and 19-1303(4), all under certain terms and conditions. Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee of the Whole, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
