City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Labor and Civil Service of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, May 6, 2019, at 10:00 AM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 190315 An Ordinance amending Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Regulation of Businesses, Trades and Professions,” by adding a new Chapter 9-4700, to provide protections for parking employees against wrongful discharge, under certain terms and conditions. 190316 An Ordinance amending Section 9-601 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Garages, Parking Lots, Sales Lots and Sales Showrooms,” to add requirements for sufficient staff for parking garages, parking lots, and valet services, under certain terms and conditions. Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Labor and Civil Service, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
