City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Law and Government of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, December 2, 2019, at 10:00 AM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 190861 An Ordinance providing for the submission to the qualified electors of the City of Philadelphia a proposal set forth in a Resolution approved by Council of an amendment to the Philadelphia Home Rule Charter to revise and clarify the restrictions on City officials and employees with respect to political activities. 190874 Resolution proposing an amendment to the Philadelphia Home Rule Charter to revise and clarify the restrictions on City officials and employees with respect to political activities; and providing for the submission of the amendment to the electors of Philadelphia. Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Law and Government, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
