City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Licenses and Inspections of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, December 2, 2019, at 3:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 190654 An Ordinance amending Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code (The Philadelphia Building Construction and Occupancy Code), Subcode A (The Philadelphia Administrative Code), by increasing the fine for conducting certain construction related activities without a permit, under certain terms and conditions. 190713 An Ordinance amending various provisions of Subcode “P” of Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “The Philadelphia Plumbing Code,” by making additional additions, deletions and amendments to the City’s adoption of the 2018 edition of the “International Plumbing Code,” as published by the International Code Council, all under certain terms and conditions. 190828 An Ordinance amending Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Regulation of Businesses, Trades and Professions,” to require certain businesses to implement and enforce shopping cart containment systems, under certain terms and conditions. Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Licenses and Inspections, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
