Public Hearing Notice
The Committee on Public Property and Public Works of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a
Public Hearing on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 10:00 AM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on
the following items:
190062 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City
of Philadelphia, to acquire fee simple title or a lesser real estate interest to all or a
portion of a parcel or parcels of land, together with the improvements thereon, in and
about the area bounded by Trenton Avenue, East Auburn Street, Tulip Street and East
Rush Street, under certain terms and conditions.
190099 An Ordinance amending Chapter 16-300 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled
“Maintenance and Supervision,” by adding a new section requiring that all City
buildings and facilities install and maintain life sustaining medical equipment including
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and advanced first aid kits; and requiring the
installation of Automated External Defibrillators in connection with capital projects, all
under certain terms and conditions.
190120 An Ordinance amending Section 16-103 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Aesthetic
Ornamentation of City Structures,” to modify the City’s “Percent for Art” requirement,
all under certain terms and conditions.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Public Property and Public Works,
open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
