Introductions​ ​(5​ ​mins) ● All​ ​members​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Blue​ ​Sky​ ​Commission​ ​present.​ ​Also​ ​in​ ​attendance:​ ​Andy Downs​ ​(from​ ​the​ ​City),​ ​and​ ​five​ ​members​ ​of​ ​the​ ​public. II. City​ ​staff​ ​guest​ ​speaker​ ​-​ ​Andy​ ​Downs,​ ​Director​ ​of​ ​Public​ ​Assembly​ ​(20 minutes) ● Andy​ ​Downs​ ​presented​ ​about​ ​his​ ​work​ ​in​ ​the​ ​Public​ ​Assembly​ ​division ● Spoke​ ​extensively​ ​about​ ​permitting​ ​process​ ​and​ ​shared​ ​usage​ ​figures​ ​with​ ​the Commission ● Discussed​ ​professional​ ​events​ ​managers​ ​being​ ​used​ ​for​ ​events ● Commission​ ​members​ ​asked​ ​questions III. Discussion​ ​of​ ​bylaws​ ​and​ ​MOU​ ​(1​ ​hour) ● Commission​ ​discussed​ ​various​ ​aspects​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Conservancy’s​ ​bylaws​ ​and​ ​MOU ● Simon​ ​will​ ​be​ ​taking​ ​these​ ​recommendations​ ​and​ ​drafting​ ​up​ ​first​ ​iterations​ ​of​ ​the bylaws​ ​and​ ​MOU​ ​prior​ ​to​ ​the​ ​next​ ​BSC​ ​meeting IV. Priorities​ ​at​ ​next​ ​meeting​ ​(5​ ​mins) ● Agreed​ ​that​ ​we​ ​will​ ​review​ ​first​ ​drafts​ ​of​ ​the​ ​bylaws​ ​and​ ​the​ ​MOU​ ​at​ ​the​ ​next meeting ● We​ ​will​ ​also​ ​discuss​ ​year​ ​one​ ​implementation​ ​plan,​ ​staffing​ ​recommendations, and​ ​statement​ ​of​ ​commitment​ ​for​ ​Board​ ​members V.
